Die Story Teil 1 Der König ist geboren

Für den ersten Teil der Kampagne waren wir aufgefordert, einen Löwen im LowPoly-Stil für ein Keyvisual aufzubereiten. Für den ersten Videoclip sollte dieser Löwe dramatisch, heroisch und kraftvoll inszeniert werden. Die Story selbst ist kurz, ausschließlich auf den Löwen fokussiert.

Nach einigen Monaten wurde die Kampagne mit dem 2. Teil fortgesetzt. Die Landschaft wurde ergänzt durch Silos und der König zeigt seine Macht.

Die neue Kampagne zeigt, wie der Löwe die Erträge eines Roggenfeldes schützt. Er steht an der Klippe und macht unmissvertändlich klar, wer der Herrscher ist.

The Challenge Character animation - one of our strengths

Razorcat is a tools forge of a special kind. It is concerned with the testing of embedded systems, uncovering errors, especially in safety-critical software.

It is not easy for such solutions to get the attention of the potential customers. That’s why Razorcat wanted an eye-catching 3D animation for trade fair use and social media channels. With our help, Razorcat seized the opportunity to not only be noticed but also be seen as valuable player in the system testing business.

At the Beginning Layout

The basic idea of using a panther as a hero, derived from the logo, was already there. We first started with a roughly drawn layout to get a feel for the story.

From that, we put the sequence of images into a video to check the content of the story.

At the same time, we worked on the main actor and the scene with movement studies and the look of the environment, all matching the story.

The animation was produced in close cooperation with the customer. Emotional animations need sound. Rolf Ableiter from Augeohr composed the appropriate music and provided us with a sophisticated sound design.

The Challenge A character represents product advantages

BASF has many plastic products in its portfolio that can be optimally used in demanding environments thanks to their outstanding technical properties.

For a newly developed plastic with improved properties, a campaign was to be launched at trade fairs and in print and online media. The agency’s concept was to visualize the properties of the plastic through a character. From that point on Creapolis came into play.

In the Beginning Character development

In the first step, we created layouts and coordinated them with the agency and client. After the design was approved, we modelled the Hero in 3D, textured it and produced a key visual with appropriate lighting.

The Story 3D Animation

In the animation our hero shows his great abilities in four chapters. Character animation is one of our strengths. So, the hero shows the engineer his abilities in a likable way.

Highlight at the Fair Interactive touch application

In order to make the advantages of the material interactively accessible for the visitors, we developed an easy to use touch app. Thereby they could learn a lot about the properties very quickly and in an exciting way.

The special feature was the transparent monitor, and the Hero from the 3D printer. This attracted attention and caused a surprise.
