The Challenge Character animation - one of our strengths
Razorcat is a tools forge of a special kind. It is concerned with the testing of embedded systems, uncovering errors, especially in safety-critical software.
It is not easy for such solutions to get the attention of the potential customers. That’s why Razorcat wanted an eye-catching 3D animation for trade fair use and social media channels. With our help, Razorcat seized the opportunity to not only be noticed but also be seen as valuable player in the system testing business.
At the Beginning Layout
The basic idea of using a panther as a hero, derived from the logo, was already there. We first started with a roughly drawn layout to get a feel for the story.
Video layout
From that, we put the sequence of images into a video to check the content of the story.
Moods
At the same time, we worked on the main actor and the scene with movement studies and the look of the environment, all matching the story.

The animation was produced in close cooperation with the customer. Emotional animations need sound. Rolf Ableiter from Augeohr composed the appropriate music and provided us with a sophisticated sound design.
Razorcat impresses its customers with the result, mainly at trade fairs.
